Want to brunch in the Basque Country?
What I like about brunch is when you can nibble on a little bit of everything. We go from scrambled eggs to banana nutella pancakes in the blink of an eye but above all we enjoy ourselves. A large table of good products and good friends, the best moment of the weekend has arrived. A late wake-up call and a laziness to cook, I invite you to pick from my good brunch addresses . You will definitely find a place that you like between Bayonne, Anglet or Biarritz.
So ready to discover my favorite places for brunch in the Basque Country?
THE MUXU CAFE in Bayonne
With a cuisine that is always gourmet, find the classics of a coffee shop revisited with a Basque twist with products carefully selected from farmers, market gardeners and peasants of the Basque Country.

THE NOMAD CAFE in Bayonne
At the nomadic café we travel the world but we keep our Basque soul.

THE MONTEKANA in Bayonne
An original concept store since the restaurant is also a clothing and decoration boutique. The colors are soothing and we love the atmosphere that reigns here! COFFEE EKIA in Biarrtiz
Ekia means Sun in Basque and here we enjoy colorful and gourmet plates. Roasted coffee, breakfast for those in a hurry and brunch all day long in this city center address. Here the cuisine is homemade, the products are local and the dishes are inspired by the Basque country.
XUXU vegan brunch in Biarrtiz
Fans of vegan and organic cuisine will be well catered for at Xuxu. Local and seasonal cuisine, the plates are super pretty and really tempting. The summer menu offers homemade pita bread with white basil sauce or Basque polenta with roasted zucchini, sweet pepper, salty granola... enough to make our mouths water. I personally tasted the roasted pistachio apricot tart and for that alone I can't wait to go back...
The most original brunch in the Basque Country is in Anglet
TRALLALA in Anglet
Here the brunch pizza formula is very original since it is an all-you-can-eat formula at 29€ offering a culinary journey to Italy. The address that many have told me about is Momês in Anglet (place des cinq canton). All-you-can-eat brunch, generous and tasty, the perfect address for a warm autumn Sunday. The savory dishes are comforting and so good that we come back. Don't forget to save room for the homemade desserts.
