Acceptance of conditions by the customer

These conditions can be read directly on www.aprileleven.fr.

The fact that the customer validates his order and proceeds to secure payment constitutes an irrevocable acceptance that can only be challenged in the cases strictly provided for in these general conditions of sale under the paragraph "right of withdrawal". The Customer acknowledges by this act having read and understood these conditions and accepts them.

APRIL ELEVEN:

These general terms and conditions constitute the entirety of the obligations of the parties involved. Consequently, the Customer unconditionally accepts all the provisions contained in these general terms and conditions of sale. APRIL ELEVEN, for its part, undertakes to respect its role as a reseller in accordance with the terms set out in these conditions.

The purpose of these general conditions is to define the rights and duties of the parties in the context of the online sale of goods and services offered by APRIL ELEVEN to the Customer. This includes the entire process, from ordering to delivery, including payment and use of the services offered on the site: www.aprileleven.fr .

These general conditions govern the sale of products at the time the customer places his order. They apply to all ordering methods offered by APRIL ELEVEN.

It is the customer's responsibility to read the general terms and conditions of sale before placing any order, as these are available on the site. APRIL ELEVEN reserves the right to adjust or modify these T&Cs at any time. Consequently, placing an order implies complete, prior and unreserved acceptance of the T&Cs by the customer.

Article 1 – Purpose

The general conditions of sale described below define the conditions applicable to all purchases made on the online store "april eleven" (hereinafter referred to as the "seller") and its customer (hereinafter referred to as the "buyer").
Any order placed on the "april eleven" online store therefore implies the buyer's unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
The seller reserves the right to modify its conditions of sale at any time. In this case, the applicable conditions will be those in force on the date of the order by the buyer.

Article 2 – Price

The prices of the products sold are those in effect on the day the order is placed. They are listed in euros and calculated including all taxes.
They do not include shipping costs, which are charged in addition to the price of the items purchased. Shipping costs will be indicated before the buyer registers the order.
The seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, it undertakes to invoice the goods ordered at the price indicated when the order is registered.

Article 3 - Order taking

Capacity to contract

Any APRIL ELEVEN customer declares that they have the capacity to contract under the conditions described below, i.e. to be an emancipated minor or to be of legal age and not to be protected within the meaning of article 488 of the Civil Code.

APRIL ELEVEN reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom a dispute exists or arises during the processing of an order, in particular a payment dispute.

In all cases, the online provision of the bank card number and the final validation of the order by the Customer will constitute proof of the order and payment of the amounts for the products selected in the order.

This validation constitutes signature and acceptance of all operations carried out on the site www.aprileleven.fr

Order confirmation

An email is automatically sent to the customer to confirm the order, provided that the email address indicated in the form does not contain any errors.

The Customer must verify the completeness and conformity of the information provided to APRIL ELEVEN. The latter cannot be held responsible for any data entry errors and the consequences in terms of delay or delivery error. In this context, all costs incurred for reshipping will be borne by the Customer.

Order tracking

The Customer may, unless the order has been validated without prior registration on the site, consult the status of his order by consulting the "My account" section on the site www.aprileleven.fr

An email will be sent to the customer to inform them of the shipment of the order and a second email will be sent to inform them of the tracking number, thus allowing the customer to follow the progress of their order.

This last delivery tracking is carried out in interface with the carriers' Internet tracking means.

Article 4 – Payment terms

Article 5 – Late payment

The seller reserves the right to cancel any order from a buyer with whom there is a prior payment dispute.

Article 6 – Delivery

APRIL ELEVEN delivers its products worldwide.

The Customer may contact APRIL ELEVEN customer service for further information on delivery conditions in a specific country in the world.

Delivery services

The products are delivered to the address indicated by the customer when ordering. The customer must check the completeness and conformity of the information he provides to APRIL ELEVEN.

The latter cannot be held responsible for any data entry errors . In this context, all costs incurred for the reshipment or loss of the order will be entirely borne by the customer.

Order preparation times

Orders are processed within 3 to 5 working days maximum (excluding possible closures of our workshop announced on the site).

APRIL ELEVEN informs its customers that these shipping times do not include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

An email is automatically sent to the Customer when the products are shipped, provided that the email address indicated in the registration form does not contain any errors, with the tracking number.

Transport times

Transport times depend on the delivery method selected by the Customer and the delivery location.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the country of delivery at the time of shopping and are definitively confirmed based on the mode of transport and delivery destination chosen, before final validation of the order.

However, APRIL ELEVEN informs its Customers that the announced deadlines do not include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Delivery Problems

April Eleven will not be held responsible in any way, nor will the carrier, for an inability to deliver due to an inaccuracy in the delivery address.

In case of unclaimed parcel by its recipient, the parcel will be returned to the workshop. The reshipment of the items will then be the responsibility of the buyer.

April Eleven cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft of packages from mailboxes if your package is indicated as delivered on the tracking of your shipment.

In fact, packages sent by registered letter without insurance cannot be the subject of a claim in the event of loss, theft or late delivery. April Eleven will however help you to provide as many documents as possible in the event of a claim with the carrier. April Eleven informs its customers that a package for which La Poste indicates a tracking in the delivered state is considered as such from a legal point of view.

No refund will be accepted once the order is indicated as delivered.

Packaging

The products are packaged in such a way as to comply with the current transport standards, and to ensure optimal protection of the products during their delivery. Please keep this quality of packaging for returns. If April Eleven finds a weakness in the packaging and the item is damaged upon its return to our workshops, we will apply a refund reduction.

Carrier-related delivery delays

In the event of a delivery delay compared to the times announced by the carriers, the customer is advised to contact the carrier or the distribution office as a priority, particularly in the case of La Poste, in order to check whether the package is not pending. Otherwise, the customer can send an email to the April Eleven team via the address contact@aprileleven.fr .

Packages may occasionally be lost during transit. Time constraints imposed by carriers require that the customer report the loss within 10 days of receiving April Eleven's shipping notice.

In these circumstances, April Eleven will take care of initiating the necessary claim procedures with the carrier concerned. Once the claim has been filed and the investigation opened, a period of 3 to 4 weeks may be necessary to obtain a response from the carrier.

If the package is found, it will be immediately re-routed to the customer's home. In the event that the package is not found, the customer has the option of requesting either the return of the same product (subject to availability), at April Eleven's expense, or a refund of the amount paid.

If the products ordered are no longer available at that time, a refund of the amount corresponding to the products lost during transport will be made by April Eleven.

Article 6bis - Exchange and return

In the event of a delay in delivery compared to the deadlines announced by the carriers, the Customer is requested to contact the carrier or its distribution office (in the case of La Poste) as a priority in order to check whether the package is not pending. If this is the case, the Customer can then contact the April Eleven team by email at the following address: contact@aprileleven.fr .

Article 7 – Responsibilities

The seller's liability cannot be implemented if the non-performance or delay in the performance of one of its obligations described in these general conditions of sale results from a case of force majeure.
In this respect, force majeure means any external, unforeseeable and irresistible event within the meaning of Article 1148 of the Civil Code.
The seller's liability may also not be implemented in the event of disruption or total or partial strike of postal services.

Article 8 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L.121-16 of the Consumer Code, for all distance selling operations, the buyer has a period of seven days from the delivery of his order to return this product to the seller for exchange or refund, without penalties with the exception of return costs.

Article 9 - Personal data (GDPR)

Visitors or Customers of the site www.aprileleven.fr have the right at any time to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning them in application of article 34 of the "information technology and freedoms" law of January 6, 1978.

When registering the Customer or placing an order, or as part of other specific operations, APRIL ELEVEN offers visitors or customers to receive its newsletters and promotional offers. The visitor or customer can modify their subscription at any time through their personal account, or through the hyperlink at the bottom of the newsletters received by email.

April Eleven undertakes to effectively take into account changes to subscriptions and unsubscriptions to commercial emails sent by it as soon as possible, depending on the necessary processing.

All information in your account is used only in the context of your business relationship with April Eleven. This information is never shared with third parties or resold.

Finally, your banking information is never in our possession. Transactions are entirely processed by PAYPAL or by the secure payment module of our partner PAYLIB.

April Eleven uses data collection systems such as cookies. A cookie is a computer file stored on the hard drive of the user's computer. Cookies are used to signal a previous visit by the user to the site and to link the user to their personal data left on the site, in particular as part of the identification of the shopping cart. A little bit about me here, since I have been alone at the helm of April Eleven for almost 15 years! I wanted to create a brand of mixed, timeless and sustainable wooden objects.
