15 ideas to build him the cabin of his dreams
1 - Gain some height:
A cabin on stilts to gain height. We love this all-wood model, square without fuss, but with this sublime detail of the round windows. Imagine your child playing explorer on this perched cabin? Easy to make yourself, this cabin model is really super elegant and that counts when you don't want to spoil your garden.
2 - The pretty wooden cabin
This adorable wooden cabin, similar to the one previously presented, is truly sublime. On stilts with 2 round windows and entirely made of wood, we are under the spell. The decoration is everywhere in this pretty cabin. The frames on the walls, the light garland to give a cozy atmosphere and beautiful Berber rugs to enlarge the play area.
3 - The traditional:
When we imagine a wooden cabin for children, this is the model we think of. With windows, shutters and a wooden door like a real house. Well, here we don't necessarily like conformism, so we found you a pretty wooden cabin in a classic shape but with large openings to make it more spacious and more open to the outside.
4 - The surfer's hut
This pretty cabin in a classic shape customized in the surf style! The parents of these children added some surfboards and a raffia garland. The pastel colors and thin boards reflect the world of surfing.
5 - The cabin that we integrate into our decor:
We agree to build them a cabin, we know it's great for developing the imagination. But if we can integrate it into our outdoor space, it's even better. Why not imagine it as a guest room? A great fallback solution for last-minute guests and a superb play area for little adventurers.
6 - The wooden cabin:
The most cozy and classic because when we think of a garden shed for children we imagine it in wood with a pretty terrace and painted by the children. Here we quickly capture the recycled spirit which gives it a warm appearance. The children's toys were brought inside. We see the suitcases as if the children were leaving for their vacation home.
7 - The cozy cabin:
We go down one floor with this model. Suitable for all ages, this cabin model with a pointed roof is more classic but you can accessorize it endlessly and make it unique. Here we have bet everything on the cozy and comfortable side by installing lots of cushions and sails. The pretty garland of lanterns adds a furiously trendy gypsy side at the moment.
8 - The dream house:
The model that we've all been dreaming about lately is these small, narrow but incredibly cute cabins with a double-sloped roof. Here we created a sort of wooden platform with beautiful plants all around. To create a roof for the cabin, we built two slopes in transparent corrugated iron.
Another view of this beautiful project. Here we can see that the ceiling height is important, what is great is that parents can also come and play. The bottom of the slopes are equipped with mattresses to take advantage of every cm². The landscaping makes this little cocoon very cozy, don't you think?
9 - The spacious one:
This teepee-like cabin is adorable. If you have the space and your garden allows it, it's a nice model. All wood with a nice opening. The children seem to have plenty of room to play and grow without any problem. These models are always on stilts to preserve the natural ecosystem.
10 - A-frame:
These A-shaped cabins (also called A Frame by our English-speaking neighbors) are real little mountain houses. The triangular frame of these wooden houses is reminiscent of the shape of the teepees and trapper's cabins that punctuate the forest scenery. Nothing more attractive for a child. This model is built in corrugated metal sheets painted in a pretty nougat color.
11 - The greengrocer's hut
Why not imagine your child's cabin as a small shop? We are such fans of this little house with the vegetable crates on the front. If you have the space, don't hesitate to reproduce a real village with the shops that go with it. The cabins will come to life according to the children's imagination.
12 - The princess's castle:
We really wanted to make you dream so here is the high-end cabin. A lovely little house with beautiful windows and a roof worthy of the most beautiful mansions. The pretty flower crown and pastel colors are sublime and give the image of a dollhouse.
13 - The handyman grandpa's hut:
I'm not sure you can find this model on the market. So much fun with its two slides. Only the imagination of a handyman grandpa can make it. We love the details of this wooden house, the little cactus at the entrance and the upper floor!
14 - Sweet dreams:
In the same spirit as the previous model, this XXL cabin with 3 slides is certainly the work of a creative. Nothing is missing, the pretty bell at the entrance to the house and the little flowers in the planter. They are so cute hand in hand going down the slide.
15 - Happy house:
And the best for last, the craziest I found! This pretty wooden house with deckchairs and parasol gently reminds us of Californian houses. The yellow slide, the blue door, the balloons, it's so cheerful! I love it.
