Copper trend

The last time copper was in the spotlight, it was in the kitchen and more precisely on the pan side... The copper trend is freeing itself from the kitchen and is found in the living room as a small decorative touch : on a cushion, a tealight holder or even a light fixture.

Revealing raw materials and giving them back their nobility is what the current decor trends are leading us towards. If wood and brick have already been much talked about, it is now the turn of copper to be brought back into fashion .
However, the big difference is that copper is not being updated as a material but as a colour.

Copper is a bright and warm material, it is a real asset to create an offbeat and unique decor. Using and not abusing this color also brings a chic touch to your interior.

As a touch in its decoration, it harmonizes very well with pale tones... Like white, beige, light pink, grays...

If you want to accentuate the raw appearance of the copper, combine it with barely sanded marble ...

The marriage of these two materials is divine!

It can of course be used sparingly in the kitchen ...

We don't want to go back to the old days of grandma's pots and pans fixed to the wall in ascending order!

Here we leave its pipes exposed and hang utensils on them. The Tolix-inspired bar stools are even more beautiful in copper.

At Vans , they dared to go for the copper version of this sneaker and we love the result :)

There is no shortage of DIYs, here is my selection.

Spray your “le parfait” glass jars with copper to give them a chic and modern look .

On metal it looks crazy , and makes us want to take out the paper trays from the cupboards.

You can cut the bottom off a tin can and paint it copper to make pretty little flower pots.

Who said copper was a color exclusively for girls?

Mixed with black , we love it a lot.
