The Danes eat early and the place is popular, book a table for the evening and arrive early if you want to have lunch there.
In the evening, dinner is served super early for us French. We eat at 6pm on long tables (you have to book and arrive before around 5:45pm). Expect to pay around €13/person

6 - Go looking for deer in Dyrehaven Park
Located about twenty minutes from Copenhagen by train, it was an opportunity to take a big breath of fresh air in a magnificent setting! The atmosphere is almost surreal. We are barely 20 minutes from Copenhagen and yet we feel like we are in the countryside. The animals are in the wild and the park is open 24 hours a day.
7 - Get lost in the aerial tunnels of the DAC outdoor playground
The Danish Architecture Centre (DAC) outdoor playground is a true urban oasis for children. Designed to stimulate imagination and exploration, this playground offers a unique experience by allowing children to discover innovative architectural structures while having fun. Entrance is free for children and costs €6.5 per adult.

8 - Super food court: Reffen
Great food court with a skate park. Perfect for a family lunch on the weekend. Kids can ride scooters or skateboards in a super relaxed atmosphere.
For fans of hot/cold, enjoy the Swedish wooden jacuzzis of CopenHot and a refreshing swim in the cool water of the harbor. This activity is offered within the Raffen Parc.

9 - Try skiing on the roof of a building
A unique activity for thrill seekers. What could be crazier than skiing on the grass slope located on the roof of CopenHill, Copenhagen's waste incinerator? An unusual activity to share with your children.
Book a one-hour slot on the site for an unforgettable and original ski descent. Count 200DKK or €26.83. Access to the roof and the café is free.
10 - Rent an electric boat
Another activity that children will love is a boat trip on the waters of Copenhagen. Ideal for a lunch break, take a picnic with you on the boat and sail for 2 hours to enjoy Copenhagen in a different way. A nice break to rest a little and break up a long day of walking in the Danish capital.
No boat license is required to drive these electric boats. The price is €90 for 2 hours.

11 - Stop by and say hello to the king and queen at Amalienborg
is one of the must-see places to visit in Copenhagen. Stroll around the large square bordered by the palace and where the imposing equestrian statue of King Frederik V stands and try to make one of the soldiers of the royal guard laugh (impossible!).
From 11:30 am don't miss the fanfare parade of the guard which leaves from Rosenborg Castle to Amalienborg Palace for the changing of the guard at 12:00 pm.
12 - Fællesparken mini Copenhagen with its roads, intersections and traffic lights just for children.
A very nice park with a miniature road to teach children about the highway code. Ideal in summer, your children will love this concept of miniature roads. The traffic lights are fascinatingly realistic.

Big and beautiful park in the middle of the city. It's a paradise for children. Large green spaces, a spacious and fenced playground, a lake, benches and a little carousel with an ice cream parlor. We spent the afternoon in this place and we had a great time! A must-do with children. For football fans, this park is right next to the FC Copenhagen stadium and its fanshop!
13 – Experimentarium
The experimentarium is a palace of discovery, a real pleasure for children and parents. Lots of very fun experiences, my children aged 3 and 6 had a great time. Be careful, the place closes at 5 p.m., you need to allow at least 3 hours to see everything.

14 - School playgrounds
Also, don't hesitate to visit schools on weekends, where playgrounds are accessible to everyone. A nice time for children to discover what everyday life is like for little Danes. Schools are not fenced or closed in Denmark.
15 - Design Museum Playground in Copenhagen
The "children's" corners of the city's museums: a huge Lego construction site (3rd largest toy producer in the world and Denmark's biggest fortune) on the top floor of the city museum or the construction and tour areas of the design museum, to name but a few.
